The Maasai Project is the union of filmmaker Brad Minnich, Documentary Educational Resources (D.E.R) and the Shampoli Maasai in Kenya.  Their ultimate goal is to create awareness and a sustainable future for the east Africa Maasai through film and philanthropy projects.

The Maasai Project has completed a documentary entitled, MAASAI:  A WARRIOR'S RITE OF PASSAGE.  The film documents a three day ceremony where Maasai men graduate from their warrior status to elder status within the community. 

Philanthropy projects have also been accomplished which include educational services, home building, food and medical assistance.
